Front post double crochet stitches (abbreviated Fpdc) are a fun way to add texture to your crochet work. Here is the explanation of how to do this crochet stitch in written form, as well as a helpful video.
Front Post Double Crochet = Yarn over, insert your hook from front to back to front around the post of the stitch below, yarn over, pull up a loop, (yarn over, pull through 2 loops on hook) twice.
