This book is a great survey of the various knitting techniques for colorwork. Instructions and patterns are included for striping, striping with self-striping yarn, slip stitch, stranded, and intarsia.
I loved the tips for knitting stripes in the rounds. Jogless joins look so much nicer, and she offers several different methods to try.
Slip stitch colorwork is one of my favorite techniques. This pullover does a fantastic job of looking complicated, even though the colorwork technique is quite easy.
