I know I normally post a recipe or information about a recipe on Mondays, but as I’m traveling right now, I haven’t had the opportunity to cook much. So instead, I thought I’d post about not eating, or, more particularly, dieting.
There are several schools of thought with regards to dieting. Some people focus on pounds lost, others focus on inches decreased at the waist. I think we should focus on skeins of yarn required for a sweater.
The first time I ever calculated how much it would cost to buy a sweater’s worth of yarn for myself, I was like, “Holy cow, I need to lose weight.” It might take longer than measure in pounds, but imagine the sense of accomplishment in saying, “yeah, I’ve lost an entire skein of sock yarn.”
Its a clever plan! My current diet plan is to put £2 on a tub for every pound I lose, then when I hit my goal I can treat myself with yarn!
That sounds like a good plan!
