Tonight starts Rosh Hashana, the Jewish new year. Though I reserve the right to drink a glass of bubbly on Dec 31st, tonight is when, at least for me, things really begin anew.
It also marks a point in my giant Poetry in Yarn to-do list. Starting next week, I will begin work on the new patterns that will be coming out this Fall/Winter. I’ve got the ideas sketched out, the yarn organized, and I am so excited to be able to jump into this. It’s great when I come up with a new idea; it’s fun to pick out the perfect yarn; and it’s absolutely, 100% thrilling to see that idea come to life. This year, I’m going to share more of the creative process with you all. I’ll be blogging about projects as I go along, and I really want to hear your input.
And for those who are celebrating: Shana Tova U’Mesucah (A Happy, Sweet New Year)
Best Yarn-filled Wishes,
BTW, in observance of Rosh Hashana, the blog won’t be updated Thursday or Friday. See y’all Monday!
